Dad’s need to be more involved in parenting…

Did you know that men have a much bigger influence than women on boys becoming well-adjusted adults…?

According to leading learning and behaviour specialist, Noel Janis-Norton, a strong father figure is vital to helping boys learn how to handle their emotions and physical strength as well as respecting others and themselves.

In her new book “Calmer, Easier, Happier Boys “, Janis-Norton suggests that mums can be too possessive and sometimes find it hard to sit back and let dad take charge, which includes letting them do things differently to how they would do them.

“Mothers need to allow dads to be dads and to have their own relationship with their children – and in particular with their boys – without trying to micromanage”.
